It was yellow, black, gold and white all over as SoCa St. John celebrated its grand opening Tuesday night.

Amid models and servers with canapes and cocktails was Jeana Keough, whose new season of “Real Housewives of Orange County” premieres Tuesday on Bravo.

Flanked by friends, Keough said it was her first time at SoCa but that she has outfits from St. John.

She decided to come to the party to support Becky Reed, a former personal shopper of hers at Bloomingdale’s who is now with SoCa.

Also accompanying her was Marilen Coughenour of Allergan.

Said Keough: “She’s our friend because they make Botox.”

Although most people might follow up that type of quote with “No, no, don’t print that!” Keough assured me she was serious. Ah, what refreshing honesty.

SoCa opened Oct. 23 in the Penthouse, just above St. John, with its younger, more casual resort collection.

“I think it’s something that St. John is long overdue in producing,” said Renee Carter, who wore a custom SoCa outfit that will be part of the Fall 2009 collection. “It’s not trendy, but it’s very, very stylish.”

Carter is a board member of the Cystinosis Research Foundation, which received 10 percent of proceeds during the party. Click on the link to learn more about cystinosis, a fatal metabolic disease.
