Saks’ half-off sale on through Saturday

Miss the sale at Saks Fifth Avenue last weekend? It’s not over.
Much of the already discounted fall merchandise is marked at 50 percent off. Although a lot of handbags and shoes have already sold, women’s designer and contemporary apparel have the best selection now, according to General Manager Gretchen Pace.
The sale continues through Saturday.

So what you are saying is, the stuff is marked down closer to it’s actual value for a few more days? Even at 50% off, it is still overpriced. Why people spend that kind of money for some of that stuff is beyond me. All you are getting is a name.

Have to agree with Duh on this one…back in the day when someone got a
gift from Sak’s, it was special, expensive, and seeing that logo made
people ooh and aah. Now I feel that way about opening a Target bag-
Although…I’d still get excited to see what was in a Sak’s box!
