I know this from experience - eating out regularly at South Coast Plaza gets expensive.
Now two casual restaurants are offering new deals.
Boudin SF is doing a $4.99 meal, which includes a bistro sandwich on sliced sourdough and a side of mixed greens. Five sandwich choices are provided, as well as their calorie totals.
Lawry’s Carvery is upgrading its regular Carvery Combination, which is a half-sandwich, soup or salad, and chips, by adding a fountain drink. The meal costs $7.99, or $9.99 if the Prime Rib Original sandwich is selected.
Both restaurants are advertising these promotions on standing signs nearby and not on their permanent menus, so it’s unclear how long the deals will last.

LAWRYS The Prime Rib in Beverly Hills has the best cream corn in the galaxy! The Carvery has cream corn as well, not as great but close enough.
